A Beautiful Day

What a beautiful last few days I have had in Northern California. Not only have I met more amazing people, but I also got to volunteer some of my time in Redwood City for a local school that needed a little assistance. Mr & Mrs Hup’s church takes part in “A Beautiful Day” projects every few months. Since my awesome visit landed on this special weekend, I got to tag along. First, assisting them with some help in the Library & Tech Room, then I decided to grab my camera and start shooting. Not only was the weather absolutely perfect, but the other volunteers were a blast and the teachers and employees of the school were grateful. It was neat to see how fast things can get done with more than just 6 hands. Below are just a few of the photos I captured. Just looking at them again brings a huge smile to face.  Just a couple more days ’til I head back to Indiana…then hopefully sooner than later I’ll make a big move out to this gorgeous left coast.

After shooting both of his sisters weddings this summer, I had a great time shooting Michael. He’s headed off to IU this coming fall (which decided to give me a degree a few years ago) so I am super excited for him to cheer on the Hoosiers. Here are only a few of the shots I got on a chilly Fall evening.

so summer is almost gone. the last couple of weekends i have gotten to spend some awesome days on the boat. attempting to wakeboard, and of course catching as much sun i can in september. here are just a few of the fun photos from my friend sarah’s birthday weekend. i am ready for fall. lots of football, lots of fun, and of course cooler weather.

After just shooting their engagement photos last month, Emily & Brandon did a marvelous job planning their gorgeous wedding! Congrats to a sweet friend and her amazing new husband! I was blessed to capture Marie & Steve’s wedding July 18th and here are just a few pictures to show how much fun we all had. I wish I could post all of them here, but I’ll try to limit it under 50. Stay tuned for more to come!

my big brother decided to get married at the end of june on his property in wisconsin. we had been praying for a clear day, since rain didn’t really want to stay away. goodness, it was an absolutely perfect day! what a blessing to be around such unique and amazing people. here are a few shots from their day, enjoy the rest in their gallery & client viewing page.

Since moving back to wordpress, i thought i should re-post a couple previous entries from my old blog site. I shot Andrea + Matt’s wedding June 5th, and what a beautiful day it was. I shot their engagements almost immediately after Matt proposed, and after a year and a half they finally said their “I do’s”. Andrea + Matt are two amazing people inside and out and I am so blessed they chose me to capture their special day. another californian trip

last month-ish i went back to california, again. aghh such a beautiful place, i so look forward to moving there and actually being able to have time to explore some really cool things! here are a few photos from visiting inside alcatraz, san fran, and some other spots! i might now be considered updated on most of my recent photography…well probably not. i can’t wait to go back again to the golden state, hopefully really soon. )

new changes…very soon.

horray. i’m back mr. wordpress. i am in the process of developing a new website layout for easier viewing of my work. i have shot 2 weddings and an engagement session in the past month, and working 40/+ hours a week I am slightly tired! I want to get this up and running so the clients get to view the photos a little easier. So stay tuned for awesome changes and a more beautiful layout. The site is still the same [mollygphotography.com], but it will be much more professional and umm yeah awesome!
